Our Approach

Pure House Certified is built on four pillars, taught live and in person over two weekends.

Classic Presentation is the spine of the program. It appears on all four days, because the ability to hold a room and deliver a class cleanly is the skill everything else hangs on. The other three pillars rotate around it, so each day pairs the fundamental with one specialty.

THE FOUR PILLARS

Classic & Modern Presentation. Voice, cueing, sequencing, and stage presence. The non negotiable craft of teaching.

Music. How sound shapes energy, pacing, and the emotional arc of a class.

Social. Reading and building the room. Community, connection, and the culture a teacher creates.

Brand or Studio Building. Turning a teaching practice into something that sustains itself, whether that is a personal brand or a physical space.

Special guest presentation

Joey Foley, founder of Pedal House and Pure House, will join the program to lead a session on brand building, with a focus on developing a personal brand that actually carries a teacher's work forward for yourself or lead a studio.

Why two weekends instead of one

The gap between weekends is deliberate. Teachers take Music and Social back into their own classes, test what they learned on real students, then return for a recap on Weekend 2 Day One. That turns the program into practice and feedback rather than a single intensive people forget by the following month.

Attendance and certification

This is a live program in person or vis Google Meets. Full attendance at all four days is required. Candidates then submit a recorded 45 minute class within 14 days of the final session. Certification is earned on demonstrated teaching, not attendance alone.

How do I become a certified Pilates instructor?

Yes. Pure House Certified is offered live online and live in person in New York City. Both formats cover the same curriculum with the same instructors and lead to the same certification.

The online Pilates certification is live. You attend the same four sessions in real time alongside the in person cohort in New York.

How long does it take to get Pilates certified?
Pure House Certified takes four days, taught across two weekends, plus up to 14 days afterward to submit your teaching video.

What do I need for the Pilates certification video submission?
A recording of yourself teaching a full 45 minute class. Phone footage is fine. We are evaluating your teaching, not your production quality.
